I've actually lived in the Lake Gaston area my entire life, currently we reside in Wise NC, located right on the NC / VA border off in interstate I85. Real Estate is you might say my second career after working 30 years in the banking industry, I decided to take my work experience and leadership skills to another level by becoming a real estate agent. In addition to selling and listing Lake Gaston real estate, I’ve enjoyed being involved in the local communities. I am a past member of the Wise Fire Department and other community organizations; I recently served as a Deacon at the Olive Branch Baptist Church in Blackridge, VA and am a former chairman and trustee of a local Christian school board.
Having lived in and around Lake Gaston my entire life, I have seen many changes over the years, yet the rural aspect of the lake has remained. My family and I attended local schools and churches, shopped in the quaint towns and enjoyed many a day boating, fishing, water skiing and swimming on Lake Gaston. One of our favorite times is sitting on the porch watching an afternoon thunderstorm roll over the lake or a gorgeous sunrise or set over the lake. Then as we travel just down the road we encounter the fields of cotton all around, and breathtaking views of the colors of autumn lining the roadways as well as reflecting those colors on the waterways. I enjoy taking my granddaughter walking in the woods exploring, and finding treasures, whereas my grandsons enjoy tractor rides down on the farm; making memories and building upon our relationships - that's what is important in life.
